We are expanding our Sales and Marketing Teams and searching for an Assistant to the Director of Sales.
The Assistant to the Director of Sales provides direct support to the Director of Sales (~85% of time) and Marketing Director (~15% of time). The ideal candidate will perform a variety of duties requiring excellent organizational, communication, and attention to detail. The position requires the ability to work autonomously with limited direction. This position is hybrid in office in Chico, CA (1 day per week) and remote (4 days per week). Additional in-office time may be required during training.
Responsibilities
· Sales Department Support
- Provide direct support to the Director of Sales through clerical and project-based work
- Manage project tracking and ensure timely completion of action items
- Schedule, attend, and support meetings, including taking detailed notes and documenting decisions
- Coordinate and manage post-meeting follow-up activities to ensure next steps are completed
- Make report requests and assist with data gathering
- Review spreadsheets using basic to moderate Excel skills and provide feedback
- Prepare presentations using PowerPoint
- Support website approvals and related coordination
· Marketing Department
- Provide direct support to the Marketing Manager through clerical and project-based work
- Organize and manage company promotional items and product samples
- Organize, distribute, and maintain inventory of promotional flyers
- Manage the assembly and distribution of promotional gift baskets and company swag
- Maintain a clean, organized, and functional Marketing office area
· Work on site at the Cascade Orthopedic Supply office located in Chico, CA at least once per week
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
· 1-2 years experience in a role with administrative support duties in an office setting
· Skilled in time management
· Skilled in handling multiple tasks, prioritizing and changing priorities
· Skilled in identifying, analyzing, and resolving problems
· Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
· Ability to listen to and understand information verbally and in writing
· Ability to solve non-complex software development problems
· Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
· Ability to anticipate, identify, analyze, and resolve conflict and problems
Salary : $20 - $25
