What are the responsibilities and job description for the Montessori Primary Guide position at Cascade Montessori?
Cascade Montessori is seeking an early learning professional to join our team as a Lead Primary (Prep) Guide in a class of 2.5-5 year olds. This class will be an expansion for our program, so it will be a brand new class opening, with an approximate open date of Feb. 2026. The class will start with a 1 to 5 ratio, including students from 2.5 to 5 years. May increase to a 3-6 age group with a max of 20 students. TBD.
We are seeking candidates with education and experiences to support their skills in running a Montessori classroom. Montessori Early Childhood Training must be complete, in process or beginning, at minimum. Open to candidates without being enrolled in Montessori Training program at time of interview, but must be willing to begin enrollment in a program in the near future. Candidates with Associates/Bachelor's Degrees in Education, Early Education, Child Development, Child and Family Studies, Psychology/Child Psychology, "in field" are encouraged to apply.
This position will have a set, Monday through Friday schedule. Hours are likely to be 8am to 5pm, but may include arrival as early as 7:45am.
