Emergency Department Admitting Clerk/Front Desk Receptionists.
Work Schedule:
The anticipated schedule consists of seven (7) days on and seven (7) days off. The schedule will be Thursday- Tuesday from 7:30am-7pm every other week. In addition, every other Wednesday you will split the day (either 7am-1pm on weeks you are finishing your week or 1pm-7pm on weeks you are starting your work week).

Duties
- Serve as Receptionist for our facility. Answer and route calls for all hospital departments.
- Register patients accurately. Maintain all admitting information at 95% accuracy.
- Perform data entry for patient account set up. Process billing paperwork for outpatient departments, including the Emergency Department.
- Process both incoming and outgoing mail.
- Process daily deposits. Receive payments and maintain cash drawer.
- Process primary and secondary bills.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient and employee information to ensure patient and employee rights are protected in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required.
- Previous admitting/receptionist experience in a similar setting is strongly preferred.
- Prior customer experience and interacting with the public is required.
- Must be able to accurately balance daily deposits - math aptitude required.
- Must be able to organize, multi-task, and prioritize daily work tasks.
- Must possess proficient computer skills.
- Must possess interpersonal skills that align with CM's Shared Values.

As a public entity, our wage range is set on a 30-step scale (Base-30 years of experience). Offer letters and wage determination will be written based on years of experience.
