Position Summary

Responsible for the coordination, planning, and provision of spiritual support and counseling services to Hospice patients, families, and caregivers in keeping with their belief system. Acts as a liaison between local clergy and the Hospice interdisciplinary team, providing consultation and training on the spiritual aspects of end-of-life care. Functions as a core member of the Interdisciplinary Group (IDG).
This is a resource position with a variable schedule.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in theology, divinity, or religion, is required. Master of Divinity or equivalent preferred. Two to four units of Clinical Pastoral Education preferred or completion within one year. Certification by APC, NACC, or equivalent preferred. Minimum of one year professional pastoral counseling in healthcare, preferably in a Home Health, Hospice, or palliative care setting preferred.

Pay: $27.79 - $41.66 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 24 per week
