We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our Box Assembly Department. This position involves assembling aluminum box components using hand tools while following detailed instructions, drawings, and schematics. The ideal candidate takes pride in precision, quality workmanship, and maintaining an organized work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble aluminum box components according to work instructions, drawings, and schematics
- Perform required fitment checks and testing to ensure quality and proper function
- Use hand tools and basic power tools safely and correctly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Assist other team members as needed to meet production schedules
- Accurately track and log labor time to specific jobs for costing purposes
- Maintain organized inventory of aluminum parts, hardware, and materials
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools (screwdrivers, drills, ratchets, rivet guns, etc.)
- Ability to read and follow written instructions, drawings, and schematics
- Understanding of basic quality control and fit-and-finish standards
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Prior experience in aluminum assembly, fabrication, or manufacturing preferred
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
