Summary

We are seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to join our dedicated team at Cascade Eyecare Center. In this role, you will assist in providing high-quality patient care and support the ophthalmologists in various clinical tasks, ensuring a seamless experience for our patients. Salary range dependent on experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist ophthalmologists during examinations and procedures.
• Perform preliminary tests on patients, including, but not limited to visual acuity and intraocular pressure measurements.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Educate patients about eye health and post-operative care instructions.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Phone Triage

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy related to eye care.
• Experience in patient care within a clinical setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems.
• Understanding of medical coding practices is beneficial but not required.
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally and pleasantly with patients and staff.
