Job Overview

Remove sharp edges and blend surface imperfections on complex machined parts and machined castings made from Aluminum, Titanium and other Aerospace Alloys.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Polish, clean, break sharp edges and produce a matte finish on precision machined parts made from a variety of metals to specified requirements and tolerances using basic deburr and hand finish tools.

· Enter data and measurements on record sheets as required.

· Preform inspection of parts using calipers and micrometers.

· Provide suggestions for improvements to increase productivity, improve quality and reduce costs

· Cross-train in other departments as needed.

· Other duties as required.

Qualifications/Requirements

· Good attendance and punctuality.

· High school graduation or equivalent.

· Experience using power and hand tools such as power sander and file.

· 1 year metal working or related field (such as auto body).

· Autobody and fabrication experience preferred.

· Ability to read and follow work instructions in English.

· Ability to work in team atmosphere and on your own

· This role requires continuous, repetitive motions involving the hands, wrists, and forearms while performing daily production tasks

· Lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly, stand in one place 8 – 10 hours per day.

· Must be a US Citizen.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.03 - $28.94 per hour
