Cascade Diagnostics is a CLIA/Cola certified laboratory based in West Linn Oregon. Cascade is currently processing toxicology and molecular testing to include UTI, Wound, GI, Women's health and many others. We are growing and currently in search of proactive Laboratory Accessioners to join our team!

Job Overview

We are seeking detail-oriented Laboratory Accessioners to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in data entry and the pre-analytical processing of specimens in a clinical laboratory setting.

Duties

- Receive, label, and prepare patient specimens for testing

- Data entry of patient data into laboratory LIS system

- Verify patient information and maintain accurate records

- Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling and processing

- Utilize knowledge of laboratory techniques to handle specimens appropriately

- Other clerical duties will be assigned as needed

Experience

Required Skills:

- Proficiency in laboratory procedures

- Knowledge of clinical laboratory operations

- Experience with Microsoft Office platforms- Word, Excel, PowerPoint

- Data Entry Skills

- Clerical Skills

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Familiarity with laboratory techniques and procedures

- Hard work ethic, with positive ready to learn attitude

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Shift: Two shifts available, hours to be discussed during interview
