What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Specialist 1, 1st shift Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm position at Cascade Designs Inc?
Summary:
A Production Specialist uses hand tools and machines to assemble a variety of products following standardized methods. He/She must also be able to achieve the daily production goals, meet quality standards and follow safety procedures.
Production Specialist 1 works in a variety of positions in work cells and must have supervision when doing changeovers and setups.
Primary Responsibilities (essential functions):
• Follow all Safety rules on production floor
• Able to do repetitive motion with hands to accomplish tasks for 8-10 hour shift
• Stand or Sit for 8-10 hour shift
• Able to load and push buttons on a machine to perform a tasks
• Able to work with a team of individuals to accomplish assembly of products
• Able to work around heated equipment
Secondary Responsibilities (marginal functions):
• Assist in performing changes on given machines
• Assist in shop floor clean up
• Assist in material restocking
Minimum Requirements:
• Must be able to sit or stand for 8-10 hour per day
• Must be able to perform repetitive motion using arms, hands, and wrists.
• Must be able to lift 10lbs repeatably
Skills:
• Good hand eye coordination
• Attention to detail
Working Conditions:
• 8-10 hours sitting, standing, and/or moving
• Safety Glasses Required
