Cascade CPA is excited to announce an immediate opening for a Director of Client Accounting Services to grow the largest and fastest growing segment of our firm. This role will oversee 25 staff members and will be focused on achieving team growth, client and employee satisfaction, while maintaining profitability for this segment.
The ideal candidate is well versed in public accounting and outsourced accounting services offering, has experience with accounting software implementation, and is excited about leading firm-wide projects from start to finish. This candidate is energized about challenging the status quo, obsessed with Key Performance Indicators, curious about how AI and technology modernize accounting firm operations, and passionate about personal and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy:
- Faithfully executes strategic business goals, achieving or exceeding realistic P&L objectives.
- Collaborate with managers to achieve their production goals and continuously improve their processes and people.
- Strongly values focus, simplicity, and clarity.
Client Relationship & Satisfaction:
- Serve as the point of escalation for client issues and ensure prompt resolution.
- Hold managers accountable for client retention KPIs. Improve client retention and satisfaction through consistent, high-quality service delivery.
- Implement a quarterly business review (QBR) process to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction. Work with managers on execution of the process.
- Manage annual price increase, notification, and negotiation process.
- Manage client happiness.
Team Management & Development:
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of client services. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Work with managers to establish performance metrics and conduct bi-annual performance reviews. Manage the process of terminating low performing employees.
- Take responsibility for talent recruiting pipeline, ensure recruitment of high-quality candidates.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Verifies that a high level of effective communication exists throughout the CAS team.
Process Improvement & Efficiency:
- Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements across CAS team and the firm.
- Provide technological oversight and lead technology upgrade projects.
- Ensures that everyone is truly following and adhering to the firm’s core processes and operating system with consistency. Demonstrates effective project management skills.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base compensation: $150,000 - $175,000
