POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with a need for accommodation to perform the essential functions of this job.

- Facilitate opportunities for spiritual growth in students
- Provide support for teachers and students during tier 2 small group instruction
- Adapt lessons and activities with teacher approval, to be used to supplement classroom activities
- Assists and/or instructs students with technology and/or student devices
- Engage students one-on-one or in small group settings using appropriate classroom management skills
- Assist in the evaluation of student needs as well as preparation of appropriate lessons and materials in collaboration with the teacher and/or resource specialist
- Assist with providing adaptation in classroom assignments and curriculum
- Pre-teach and re-teach identified general education material
- Provide alternative testing formats
- Playground supervision duties for daily recess times, as needed
- Assist the teacher in observing, recording, and charting behavior
- Effectively implement behavior supports as developed by the support team
- Be a student’s advocate to general education teachers, administrators, and parents
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Agrees with Cascade Christian Schools’ Statement of Faith and Teaching Statements
- Preferred 4-year education degree and/or equivalent experience
- Ability to take direction from teachers and supervisors
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to be flexible with
- Ability to relate well to students
- Ability to complement various teaching styles
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding student information
- Christian Role model in attitude, speech, and action
- First-aid and CPR certified or willing to receive and pass certification training
WORK HOURS:
Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 3:30 pm
START DATE:
August 24, 2026
SALARY RANGE:
$20.05 - $22.90, depending on experience and qualifications
