Job Summary:

The Production Tech I plays a vital role in the manufacturing of products. This is an entry level position with opportunities to learn new skills and grow within the company, assisting with the operation of a bottling line that fills, seals, labels, and packages product for retail sales.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify, address and report any defects or quality issues to the manager on duty
  • Learn, comprehend and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Understand and comply with warehouse sanitation standards and keep work areas clean and organized
  • Understand and complete sanitation and sterilization processes for bottling line prior to starting the bottling process
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation
  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with Cascade Spirits good manufacturing practices
  • Rotate positions on the bottling line including filling, sealing, labeling and packaging
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Ability to work extended hours and overtime as required

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of manufacturing, packaging or distribution experience (Spirits industry preferred)

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to do repetitive motions repeatedly
  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds at times.

Pay scale: Starting at $20/hour, with quarterly bonus potential and 100% employer-paid employee benefits.
