What are the responsibilities and job description for the Buyer - Aerospace position at Cascade Aviation Services?
We’re looking for an experienced Buyer to join our aviation structural parts team. You’ll source and procure hardware, raw materials such as extrusions and sheet metal, and other aviation-related products that keep our manufacturing running smoothly.
What you’ll do:
- Find and negotiate with suppliers for the best price, quality, and delivery
- Handle purchase orders, track shipments, and fix any supply issues fast
- Build strong vendor relationships while meeting aviation standards
- Spot market trends and suggest ways to save money without cutting corners
What we’re looking for:
- 3 years buying or purchasing experience, ideally in manufacturing or aerospace
- Comfortable with QuickBooks and familiar with ERP or purchasing systems
- Strong negotiator who’s organized and can juggle multiple priorities
- Detail-oriented team player who thrives in a shop environment
This is a full-time role with competitive pay, benefits, and a sign-on bonus after 6–12 months.
Pay: $52,000.00 - $72,800.00 per year
