Nursery Signage Associate

Do you have computer skills, an eye for detail, and an interest in plants?

We are hiring a part-time Signage Department Associate to help create plant and nursery signage for our beautiful garden center!

This position is part-time, 15–20 hours per week, 3–4 days per week, working in our signage department.

Applicant Requirements:

• Must speak English
• Must have basic computer skills
• Must be comfortable using computer programs and learning new software
• Editing or design experience is preferred
• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT is preferred
• Must be willing to learn and use ChatGPT and NiceLabel software to create plant and nursery signage
• Must be detail-oriented and able to follow signage formats and templates
• Must be able to organize and prioritize signage requests
• Must be able to work independently and complete tasks on time
• Basic plant or nursery knowledge is preferred

Job duties include:

• Creating plant and nursery signage for the garden center
• Editing and formatting signage using computer software
• Using ChatGPT to help create plant descriptions and signage content
• Using NiceLabel software to print and organize signs
• Checking signage for spelling, accuracy, pricing, and formatting
• Organizing printed signs and keeping the signage department clean and orderly
• Assisting with signage updates throughout the garden center as needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Employment is contingent on a background check; some positions may also require pre-employment drug screening.
