Position Summary
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and fast-paced Barista to join our coffee stand team. The Barista is responsible for preparing high-quality drinks, providing excellent customer service, maintaining cleanliness, and helping create a welcoming atmosphere for every guest.
Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso drinks, coffees, teas, smoothies, refreshers, Italian sodas, and energy drinks
- Take customer orders accurately and process payments through the POS system
- Maintain speed and accuracy during busy periods
- Keep workstations, counters, and equipment clean and sanitized
- Restock cups, syrups, milk, lids, straws, and other supplies
- Open and close the coffee stand following company procedures
- Monitor inventory and notify management when supplies are low
- Follow food safety and health department guidelines
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and drink recipes
- Assist with daily cleaning tasks and side work
Qualifications
- Customer service experience preferred
- Coffee or food service experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
- Oregon Food Handler Card (or willingness to obtain before starting)
Preferred Skills
- Experience using espresso machines and grinders
- Basic cash handling and POS experience
- Ability to memorize recipes and customize drinks
- Team-oriented mindset with strong work ethic
Schedule
- Part-time or full-time positions available
