We're backed by an incredible set of leading VC firms and angels, and we’re live with paying members.About the RoleWe're looking for a skilled and reliable handyman to join our private property management team. Ideal candidate will work closely with us to provide high-quality handyman, repair, and proactive maintenance services for our member's primary homes. You should be friendly, professional, and comfortable doing basic handyman work.ResponsibilitiesProactive maintenance – you'll keep major appliances and home systems maintained on an established schedule. This might include replacing filters, checking batteries, and other similar tasks to keep the home running wellHome repairs – you'll mount artwork, patch drywall, touch-up paint, adjust fixtures, and other similar tasks that come up in the home. Your caulk lines should be clean and crisp!Basic electrical & plumbing, like installing light fixtures & thermostats, replacing light switches, troubleshooting outlets, installing faucets, clearing clogged drains, and the likeOther property management tasks, like picking up packages, taking in the mail while a household is out on vacation, hanging holiday lights, or filling car tires with air when neededQualificationsExperience in a handyman, property maintenance, or technician role, ideally in residential homes is a plusStrong knowledge of repair and maintenance techniques. Quality and attention to detail is a priorityStrong written and verbal communication skills – you'll be interacting with homeowners and need to be clear, friendly, helpful, and professional.You have your own general tools, and can use them safely and effectivelyYou have your own vehicle, and can reliably travel around the SF/Bay Area that you'll be working fromA clean background check and drivers licenseAdditional InfoThis is a contract hourly role to start ($30/hour), approximately 10-30 hours a week with the opportunity to increase hours.The hours are flexible around your schedule.
