We're backed by an incredible set of leading VC firms and angels, and we’re live with paying members.About the workWe're looking for a skilled, reliable handyman to join our team.The ideal candidate will work closely with us to provide high-quality handyman, repair, and maintenance services for our members' primary homes. You’ll work in owner-occupied homes with respectful, long-term clients.We offer consistent, well-scoped work — no chasing payments or scrambling for last-minute jobs.Responsibilities:Home tasks & repairs – mounting artwork, patching drywall, touching-up painting, adjust fixtures, and other similar tasks that come up in the home. Your caulk lines should be clean and crisp.Basic electrical & plumbing, like installing light fixtures & thermostats, replacing light switches, troubleshooting outlets, installing faucets, clearing clogged drains, and similar small jobs.Proactive maintenance – keeping major appliances and home systems maintained on an established schedule. This might include replacing filters, checking batteries, and other similar tasks to keep the home running well.Other property management tasks, like picking up packages, taking in the mail while a household is out of town, hanging holiday lights, or filling car tires with air when needed.Qualifications:At least 5 years of experience in a handyman, property maintenance, or technician role, ideally in residential homes.Strong knowledge of repair and maintenance techniques. Quality and attention to detail is a priority.Strong written and verbal communication skills – you'll be interacting with homeowners and need to be clear, friendly, helpful, and professional.You have your own tools, and can use them safely and effectively.You have your own vehicle, and can reliably travel around the Westside of Los AngelesA clean background check and drivers license is requiredAdditional information:You'll be supported – scheduling, communication, and parts/materials ordering are handled for you, so you can focus on the work itself.This is a contract, hourly role ($30/hour), approximately 10-20 hours a week (for now) with the opportunity to increase hours in the coming months.This role is flexible around your schedule, week to week. We're looking for any combination of weekday, weekend, and early evening hours.
