Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable, hard-working, and detail-oriented full-time housekeeper to join our family household. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean, well-organized home and be willing to assist with day-to-day household tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
- General cleaning and organization of the home (including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas)
- Laundry and ironing
- Dishwashing and keeping the kitchen tidy
- Assisting with grocery shopping and errands as needed
- Helping with setup/cleanup during parties and family gatherings
- Comfortable interacting with and assisting elderly Portuguese-speaking grandparents
Requirements
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred
- Must be trustworthy, responsible, and self-motivated
- Attention to detail and a passion for keeping a clean, organized home
- Ability to communicate respectfully and clearly with family members
- Portuguese-speaking or understanding the language is a big plus
- Car is a plus
