Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations, and assist with seating arrangements to optimize flow and guest satisfaction
• Take accurate orders from guests using in-person communication and POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Deliver food promptly from the kitchen to tables, ensuring proper presentation and food safety standards are maintained
• Clear tables efficiently by bussing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and resetting for new guests while maintaining cleanliness standards
• Assist with beverage preparation including basic barista skills or beverage service as needed
• Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks and dishwashing to keep the workspace organized and efficient
• Handle guest inquiries courteously over the phone or in person, providing exceptional customer service and guest relations

Experience

• Previous host/hostess experience or food service background preferred; experience in restaurant or hospitality settings highly valued
• Familiarity with food handling, safety protocols, and dishwashing procedures
• Experience with order taking, serving, and cash handling using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Knowledge of beverage preparation, catering, banquet service, or delivery driver experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and guest relations abilities
• Ability to perform basic math for transactions and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working in diverse settings such as hotels or catering environments is advantageous

Pay: $13.73 - $14.00 per hour
