What are the responsibilities and job description for the Holiday Seasonal Support position at Casa Pacifica?
Wage band range $16.50 - $20.00; however, starting pay is ultimately determined by the scope of the position, the candidate's relevant experience, and internal equity.
Under the direction of the Specials Events Manager, provides fundraising support, including holiday donation organization, and works with various volunteers to support donations received, which are well organized in our warehouse and PODs located on campus. This is a short-term seasonal support role. The Development Seasonal Support role will carry out Casa Pacifica's mission by providing physical donation stocking, administrative support, and clerical support.

CREDENTIALS: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a strong knowledge of Word and Excel..
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with a range of people. Detail-oriented, excellent organization skills. Self-motivated, energetic, and flexible. Must be able to handle multiple projects and meet critical deadlines. Position requires the ability to be a team player with a commitment to relationship-building for the agency.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating and procedure manuals.
Communication Skills: Strong social and interpersonal communication skills are essential.:
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Possess the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Driving Ability: Have and maintain a current California driver's license.

- Manage physical “POD runs,” movement, organization, and labeling of POD donations.
- Support staff in preparing, writing, and delivering holiday doves.
- Support staff in logging, storing, and organizing holiday gifts.
- Support staff in obtaining children’s wish lists, managing wish lists as gifts arrive, arranging and coordinating cottage shopping dates, and assisting staff in matching wish lists.
- Support and help manage volunteers in organizing donations.
- Reach out to previous donors as needed.
- May perform other duties as needed during holiday seasonal needs.
