Wage band range $80,000.00 - $108,900.00 annually. However, starting pay is ultimately determined by the scope of the position, the candidate's relevant experience, and internal equity. Position is eligible for $7,500 sign-on bonus and bilingual pay incentive.

Under the direction of the Chief Clinical Officer, or designee, is responsible for clinical supervision and professional development of registered and licensed clinicians providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents and families being served.  The Clinical Supervisor will manage a caseload of assigned clients when needed. The Clinical Supervisor carries out Casa Pacifica's mission in relation to the ongoing clinical assessment, evaluation, and mental health treatment of the youth within Casa Pacifica.

CREDENTIALS: Clinical Supervisor II: LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Licensed Psychologist. Must be eligible for licensure in California.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (illustrated by typical activities):

  • Provide clinical supervision, oversight and consultation to supervisees to ensure ethical and best practice standards are met.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and complete supervision records and state board-required documentation.
  • Provide clinical services (individual, collateral, rehabilitation, parenting skills training, and/or case management) as needed.
  • Evaluate the changing mental health needs of the youth and adjust accordingly.
  • Utilizes evidence-based practices that are appropriate to meet the clinical needs of the youth and family.
  • Collaborate with clinicians to support the treatment team (mental health workers, education staff, health clinic staff, parent partners, youth advocates, families, and youth) to provide comprehensive and complex clinical care.
  • Serve as a Casa Pacifica leader in service of the mission of the agency as a provider of quality mental health treatment. 
  • Assists in program development and staff training to ensure the milieu is therapeutic.
  • Attends outside training events and conferences as requested.
  • Maintains compliance with all local, County, State, and Federal government regulations to include Title 22, Division 6, and prepares reports required by regulatory agencies.
  • Maintains confidentiality in all matters within the organization with respect to personnel, operations and clients.
  • May perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:

Clinical Supervisor II: Licensed Master or Doctoral Level Clinician with five to seven years’ experience, preferable but not required, working with severely emotionally disturbed youths. For the Doctoral level, a minimum of 2 years post-licensure supervisory experience as a licensed psychologist.

CREDENTIALS: Clinical Supervisor II:  LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Licensed Psychologist. Must be eligible for licensure in California.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to use various computer software, Microsoft Office Suites. Bilingual in Spanish, a plus. Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.

Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to write comprehensive evaluations and progress notes/ reports on youth’s treatment goals.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply principles of logic or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
