The CASA of Midwest Kentucky, Inc. is accepting resumes for the full-time Volunteer Coordinator position. Bachelor of Arts in Social Work or related field preferred. Experience in the child welfare system, court system and/or supervisor of volunteers preferred. Excellent professional communication skills. Experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree. Prior experience in the administration of volunteers, non-profit, or public agency management preferred. Candidate must also interact with individuals of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, and educational backgrounds; maintain confidential information and records; provide quality case management and supervision of volunteers; and engage in public speaking and other public awareness activities on behalf of the organization. This is a grant-funded position. In this position, after a 90-day probationary period in Madisonville, Coordinator will work from Madisonville, Ky office mainly, and Henderson as needed (at least one day a week). This Volunteer Coordinator will supervise volunteers in Henderson and Union counties.
A flexible schedule includes regular office hours and occassional evening and weekend work. Must have daily transportation to attend meetings, court, facilitate home visits and represent CASA at other functions.

Duties and Responsibilities
· Assist with recruiting, screening, interviewing, and training new volunteers
· Assist in the development of training programs and training materials
· Assist in organizing, facilitating, and conducting pre-service and in-service training for volunteers
· Assist in matching volunteers with cases
· Attend court, as needed
· Supervise, consult, and assist CASAs in the preparation of cases for court and their provision of ongoing advocacy services
· Assure that reports prepared by CASA volunteers are reviewed, professionally written, typed, reproduced, and delivered to all relevant parties promptly
· Assure the maintenance of case files and volunteer reports
· Enter volunteer, children, and court information and statistical information into the OPTIMA database system
· Meet annual goals set for position/program
· Follow terms of reporting monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
· Make a minimum of monthly contact with each assigned volunteer, more often as needed as determined by volunteer, case and/or staff
· Conduct yearly survey forms for volunteers, partners, and children served
· Assist in volunteer appreciation events
· Ensure that National and KY CASA standards and statutes are met
· Ensure that case files are returned and closure forms are completed
· Conduct exit interviews with volunteers leaving the program
· Ensure that VOCA requirements are followed
· Any other reasonable duties as assigned

Pay: $38,000.00 - $39,000.00 per year
