Position Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for delivering high-quality, compassionate care to residents by assisting with activities of daily living and ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity at all times.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities, including:
- Meal services
- Bathing and grooming
- Ambulation and toileting
- General hygiene and comfort needs
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the PointClickCare (PCC) electronic medical record system
- Support a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for all residents
- Monitor and record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and report any changes to nursing staff
- Comply with all HIPAA regulations and maintain resident confidentiality
- Uphold a high level of customer service and professionalism when interacting with residents, families, and coworkers
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or clinical staff
- Active CNA certification in the State of Indiana
- Prior experience in long-term care or similar healthcare setting preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
