Inventory Control Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring optimal stock levels, and supporting efficient warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee inventory control across receiving, put-away, replenishment, staging, and returns reconciliation.
• Maintain NCR/WMS location and quantity accuracy.
• Perform all inventory activities in full compliance with the Inventory SOP, including scanning, cycle counts, reconciliation, and documentation.
• Authorize and document all inventory adjustments; ensure no unauthorized changes are made.
• Notify the Warehouse Manager, Purchasing Manager, and Controller of all inventory adjustments.
• Manage the cycle-count program by scheduling, verifying, and reconciling results.
• Monitor negative slots, unscanned moves, aging, and short-dated stock.
• Document nonconformances and corrective actions.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or related field
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Proficiency with inventory management software and MS Office Suite
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in inventory management is a plus
