Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to be the friendly face of our practice. In this vital role, you will manage patient interactions, handle administrative tasks, and ensure the smooth operation of daily office functions. Your positive attitude and organizational skills will help create an exceptional experience for every patient who walks through our doors.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures
- Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, schedule appointments, and direct calls efficiently
- Maintain accurate patient records through data entry, filing, and updating electronic health records using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
- Handle appointment scheduling, calendar management, and reminders to optimize office flow
- Support office management with clerical duties such as proofreading documents, managing correspondence, and organizing files
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns with professionalism and courtesy
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks and support medical or dental receptionist duties as needed
Requirements
- Proven office experience, preferably in a healthcare or dental setting
- Strong computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, data entry, and office management software
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional phone etiquette and customer support skills, including experience with multi-line phone systems
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations
- Clerical experience such as filing, proofreading, and calendar management is preferred
- Knowledge of medical or dental receptionist procedures is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining professionalism
