Duties
- Engage with customers in retail or on-route settings to promote products and services effectively
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing personalized solutions
- Conduct upselling by identifying opportunities to enhance sales and maximize revenue
- Manage route driving responsibilities, ensuring timely delivery of products while adhering to safety regulations
- Handle pricing negotiations, discounts, and promotions to meet sales targets
- Operate commercial trucks following DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe driving practices
- Assist with merchandising efforts to ensure product displays are attractive and well-organized
- Perform heavy lifting safely when handling inventory or transporting automobile-related equipment
- Communicate clearly with clients and team members, providing excellent customer service at all times
- Maintain organizational skills for route planning, record keeping, and compliance documentation
Experience
- Prior retail store experience or customer service background preferred
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience in commercial truck driving or route driving preferred
- Knowledge of pricing strategies, upselling techniques, and basic math skills for transactions and calculations
- Familiarity with automobile transportation or related logistics is a plus
- Understanding of DOT regulations and safe lifting practices is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
- Ability to perform heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards
- Organizational skills for route management, merchandising, and record keeping
