About the Role
As a Front of House Associate, you are the first point of contact for guests and play a vital role in delivering a welcoming, informative, and efficient experience. You help maintain the daily flow of the shop, support sales and service, and contribute to a clean, organized, and well-stocked environment.
Core Responsibilities
Customer Experience
- Greet and assist guests with warmth and product knowledge
- Support sales through thoughtful recommendations and clear communication
- Handle transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system
- Professionally address customer questions or concerns
Daily Operations
- Execute opening and closing procedures as assigned
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of retail and work areas
- Support merchandising and restocking throughout the day
- Assist with basic preparation or packaging tasks as needed
Order Fulfillment & Packaging
- Prepare and fulfill customer orders with careful attention to presentation
- Label, organize, and process outgoing shipments and in-store pickups
- Adhere to deadlines and special instructions for large or time-sensitive orders
Team Communication & Collaboration
- Leave clear, concise shift-end notes for incoming team members—status of ongoing orders, restock needs, equipment issues, and any urgent items
- Keep colleagues informed of progress on custom or large orders, escalation points, and special requests
- Share important guest feedback and operational observations in real time (verbally or via our internal messaging board)
- Coordinate with kitchen and packaging teams to ensure seamless handoffs and avoid duplication of work
- Uphold a culture of open, proactive communication to keep everyone aligned and the day-to-day running smoothly
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Seasonal
Pay: From $16.89 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
