What are the responsibilities and job description for the Respiratory Therapist position at Casa Colina Hospital and Centers for Healthcare?
Under the direction of a physician and by prescription, administers respiratory therapy care and life support to patients with deficiencies and/or abnormalities to cardio-pulmonary system to assist patients achieve their maximum cardio-pulmonary potential. Requirements include: graduate of an AMA Respiratory Therapy Program, current and valid California Respiratory Care Practitioner License, two-three years experience in Acute and/or SNF setting and CPR/AED is required. Applicants with current BLS may be hired, but must obtain AHA CPR/AED within thirty days of employment.
