Casa Calda US Corp is commercial, single or multi family aluminum window and door fabricatorlocated in the heart of Philadelphia,Pennsylvania (Roosevelt boulevard). The company is looking for production workers to join our team.
Hours of operation are Monday – Friday day shift - 8:00am – 5pm with overtime scheduled on an as needed basis.
The Company offers weekly pay with benefits including but not limited to paid holidays, vacation times and sick time.
Job Description.
This is a full-time position with prior related experience preffered but not required. Experience is plus, candidates with no experience will be subject to training and trial period. We are open to all candidates looking for a career path in manufacturing and interested in growth with a young growing company.
● The candidates will become part of a family, small production team producing custom architectural aluminum and vinyl products.
● Production workers will be responsible for cutting, processing, and assembling window and door profiles;
● Candidates will work closely with supervisors, and with other members of the production team on a daily basis Knowledge and Skills;
● Reading & Writing comprehension – Understanding the English language, sentences, and paragraphs in reference to work-related documents;
● Language - Ability to speak the English language (Spanish or Russian speaking bi-lingual candidates are a plus)
● Basic Knowledge of Tools - Ability to use basic hand tools, power tools, and read a tape measurer;
● Knowledge of production equipment including saws and automated CNC equipment is preferred but not required;
● Basic math skills;
● General Skills – Candidates must have the ability to work with attention to detail both independently and as a team member, practice efficient and safe work practices, communicate clearly and effectively with both their team and management and maintain high-quality standards under changing workloads and deadlines;
● Driving and Transportation - The candidate is expected to have a reliable form of transportation to and from work;
Physical Requirements;
● All candidates must be capable of wearing proper PPE on a daily basis which may include but is not limited to - Face Mask, Hearing Protection (Muffs, or plugs), gloves, Safety Glasses;
● The candidate must be able to stand 8 to 10 hours per day;
● Candidate must be able to lift 20 to 60 pounds by themselves repeatedly throughout the day, or more with the help of a team;
