About us
Casa Blanca is a condominium complex in Siesta Key, Florida with a related short-term rental business that is operated for the convenience of owners who participate in the rental program.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated General Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring that all departments are running smoothly and efficiently. The General Manager will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase profitability, manage budgets, and develop long-term plans for growth at the direction of the Condo Association Board of Directors. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in property management, excellent leadership skills, a strong understanding of financial management, and a proven track record of success in a managerial role.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to increase profitability and efficiency.
- Lead, motivate, and manage staff, consisting of maintenance and front desk personnel.
- Develop and manage the Annual Budget.
- Provide financial information used by outside accountants for the maintenance of our accounting system and the preparation of monthly financial statements.
- Provide monthly rental statements and payments to owners
- Run payroll for all personnel on a bi-weekly basis.
- Handle the purchasing of goods and services, including contracts, required for the operation of the complex.
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Develop policies and procedures for the organization.
- Deal directly with owners and guests/tenants - answer questions, resolve issues as they arise.
Qualifications:
- Business degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar role in property management, preferably with a focus on short-term/vacation rental operations.
- In-depth knowledge of property management principles, vacation rental market trends and relevant local and federal laws.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with guests, property owners and the Association Board of Directors.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
