Position Summary:

CAS is currently seeking a Graphic Designer. This position will be located in our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. 

We're seeking a Graphic Designer to develop creative work across digital and print channels — marketing, communications, events, web, social, video, and environmental branding. You'll partner with stakeholders across the organization to turn business goals into visual work that connects with a global audience, while keeping an established brand system consistent and current. This role suits someone who brings ideas rather than waiting for direction and is curious about how new tools and technologies can improve creative outcomes. 

Job Responsibilities 

• Design and produce assets across digital and print channels that support integrated marketing campaigns, communications initiatives, and events. 

• Create motion graphics, animation, and video content for campaigns and storytelling initiatives.  

• Translate complex concepts and data into clear, accessible, visually engaging content.  

• Apply and maintain established brand standards across all communications and touchpoints. 

• Stay current on emerging technologies, AI-assisted tools, industry trends, and evolving digital experiences, sharing relevant insights and opportunities with the team. 

• Work independently from creative briefs, offering recommendations rather than only executing them. 

Job Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Visual Arts, or a related field.  

• 2–4 years of professional design experience in a corporate, in-house, or agency environment; agency experience preferred.  

• Portfolio demonstrating depth in both digital and print work.  

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).  

• Proficiency in After Effects and Premiere Pro for motion graphics, animation, and video production. 

• Experience designing within established brand standards, visual guidelines, or design systems. 

• Experience managing multiple projects with overlapping deadlines and shifting priorities.  

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present work and explain design decisions to non-design stakeholders.  

• Ability to synthesize feedback from multiple stakeholders while maintaining project objectives and design integrity. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience designing for scientific, technical, and/or B2B audiences across global markets and multilingual environments. 

• Experience creating data visualizations or infographics.
