Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Wartburg, TN, for an Early Head Start Home Visitor. The Home Visitor will be responsible for conducting regular home visits to support parents as primary teachers, providing developmentally appropriate activities for infants and toddlers. Responsibilities include supporting family engagement, developmental assessments, goal setting, progress tracking, and connecting families to resources. Emphasis will be placed on fostering a safe, nurturing environment to ensure physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth in young children.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of child development, early learning standards, and experience in delivering developmental assessments
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Skills in family engagement, progress tracking, and connecting families to community resources
- Ability to plan developmentally appropriate activities for infants and toddlers
- Organizational skills, adaptability, and the ability to work independently
- Relevant experience in early childhood education, social work, or related fields
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Associate in ECED or CDA in infant/toddler are required.
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, or a related field is preferred
