Job Summary
As a Chief Inspector at CAS Composite, you will oversee quality control and assurance for aircraft components, ensuring strict compliance with FAA, EASA, and ISO standards. You will lead the inspection team, implement protocols, and act as the final authority in certifying airworthiness and regulatory compliance.
Essential Functions
- Lead and coordinate the quality team.
- Implement and maintain quality systems in accordance with FAA, EASA, and ISO standards.
- Ensure accuracy of documentation and certifications.
- Conduct audits and inspections to verify compliance.
- Train and guide team members on regulations and procedures.
- Collaborate across departments to resolve quality issues.
- Report quality metrics and compliance status to management.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s in aviation, engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years in quality control/assurance, 2 in leadership.
- Strong knowledge of FAA/EASA/ISO regulations.
- Leadership and communication skills.
- Quality management certification (ASQ) preferred.
- Documented training history required.
