Role Description
We currently have an opening for a Junior Designer position. While working under the general supervision of a Project Architect or Project Manager, the junior designer position is responsible for supporting design development and construction documents as well as the other phases of a project.
Other tasks include:
- Modeling design sketches and layouts initially developed by others
- Conducting research on materials and construction techniques
- Participate in site/building surveys and prepare accessibility deficiencies reports
- Review drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards, and implement changes as directed
Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited architectural or related design program (licensure not required)
- 0-3 years of related, professional experience
- Proficient in Revit and familiarity with AutoCAD
- Proficient in Sketch-up, InDesign, MS Office, Enscape
- Self-motivated
- Strong verbal and graphic communication, organizational and collaborative skills
- Proactive, team player mindset with willingness to take on various responsibilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing demands, while maintaining a high standard of excellence, integrity, and attention to detail
- Excellent problem solver and independent thinker with good listening skills and strong follow-through
- Commitment to their own professional growth

- Our work schedule is currently comprised of 4 days in the office with remote work on Fridays. Monday through Thursdays are comprised of in-office core hours (8:30-4:30) with some flexibility in the morning / end of day to accommodate individual needs.
