Wholesale woodworking shop seeks operator for, Morbidelli, Weeke, Biesse CNC nesting machine for cabinet parts production.
Demonstrate an ability to operate CNC machines. Must have 3 years direct’ experience as a CNC Machinist. along with an ability to communicate well to all levels of personnel. A strong ability to read blueprints and job specifications is important as well as a strong attention to detail.
Summary
Sets up and operates CNC woodworking machines to fabricate wooden cabinets by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Studies blueprints or drawings of articles to be constructed, and plans sequence of cutting or shaping operations to be performed.
Sets up and operates CNC woodworking machines to cut and shape parts from wood stock.

Education and/or Experience: One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
Mathematical Skills :Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Desired skills:
Experience with hand measuring tools, tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts and other accessories used on various machines.
Operate, maintain CNC Machinery 1-3 years experience.
Understanding of machinery and machine shop practices. Knowledge of basic inspection tools to check parts.
