Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Personal Care Assistant to join our dedicated team in an on-site role based in Austin, TX. The Personal Care Assistant will assist clients with daily living activities such as grooming, dressing, bathing, and meal preparation. Responsibilities also include ensuring client safety and comfort, providing companionship, supporting mobility, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. The role requires a compassionate approach to help clients maintain their dignity and independence in daily life.
Qualifications
- Experience in Personal Care Assistance (PCA) and providing essential personal care services
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide compassionate care
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge or experience in personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation
- Physical capability to assist clients with mobility and perform caregiving tasks
- Patience, reliability, and the ability to work closely with clients
- CPR/First Aid certification is an advantage
- High school diploma or GED; previous caregiving experience is preferred
