Job Title: Fabricator
Reports To: Shop Foreman
Department: Operations
Location: Winnemucca, NV
Position Summary:
The Fabricator is responsible for receiving plate materials from the burn table, structural materials from material staging and providing a finished product per provided drawings. The roles of the Fabricator include but are not limited to: Forming/Rolling Materials, Drilling/Countersinking materials, saw cutting, air-arcing, grinding, fitting, welding, painting, QA/QC and packaging for shipment.
General Responsibilities:
- Perform all duties with Safety as the first priority
- Proper use and care of all shop equipment
- Abide by all company rules and procedures
- Housekeeping of all work areas before, during and after shift
- Be proactive in consumables usage, continuously strive to improve processes
- Seek out training opportunities to maximize and diversify skill sets on all fabrication processes
- Acquire Tooling per Grade Level per accompanying tool list
- Other Duties as Assigned
Grade 1:
Basic Understanding of CarWil Drawings for Fabrication processes. Includes understanding of weld symbols, measurements, call-outs and design parameters.
Grade 2:
Advanced understanding of CarWil Drawings for Fabrication Processes.
Grade 3:
Comprehensive understanding of CarWil Drawings for Fabrication processes. Can assist less experienced fabricators in comprehension of complex drawings.
