What are the responsibilities and job description for the In School Suspension (ISS) Coordinator position at Carver Middle School?
QUALIFICATIONS: 60 hours College Credits. Experience in working with students. Ability to carry out the responsibility of supervising students as directed by the Principal. Computer/typing skills desired. Organization skills a must.
REPORTS TO: School Principal
Days: 190
JOB GOAL: To provide appropriate supervision to students who have been assigned in school suspension.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitors records and files of students serving in ISS daily.
- Provides information to the school administrator on student academics and behavior while serving in ISS.
- Carefully monitors student behavior while they are serving ISS.
- Follow all procedures as outlined by the school principal.
- Works with students and others consistently in a cooperative and respectful manner.
- Performs all other duties and responsibilities designated by the principal.

TERMS: The Superintendent will establish salary work year based upon the recommendation and approval by the Board of Trustees.
