Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Certified Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for children ages 3 to 5, promoting their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development in alignment with our educational philosophy and state standards.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans that align with early learning standards.

• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment where children feel comfortable exploring and learning.

• Assess and document children's progress through observations, portfolios, and developmental checklists.

• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding child development, behavior, and classroom activities.

• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan school-wide events and initiatives.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating learning environment.

• Follow all licensing regulations and organizational policies, including safety, health, and emergency procedures.

• Participate in professional development and training opportunities to stay current in early childhood best practices.

Requirements:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).

• Current state certification for preschool teaching (e.g., CDA, state Early Childhood Education license).

• Knowledge of child development principles and early learning curriculum frameworks.

• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.

• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

• Background check and fingerprint clearance required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with early childhood education.

• Bilingual abilities a plus.
