Job Summary
Looking for highly energetic, enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our team. Would need to be available all year-round, preferably someone looking to be part of our team for the next few years.
This business operates at a fast pace and would require being on your feet for 6-8 hr. shifts. If you enjoy working in a fun, energetic and happy atmosphere, Carvel is the place for you.
Part-time & Full-time positions available. Must be willing to work evenings and weekends until 12am
Responsibilities include:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly & enthusiastic manner
- Take and prepare customer orders according to menu
- Prepare take-home treats
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Adhering to food safety guidelines
- Maintaining a clean shop and workstation
- Refilling toppings & ice cream products
- Restocking and organizing all supplies and products
Qualifications:
- Must be friendly, outgoing and have a positive attitude
- Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds up and down stairs
- Must be able to stand, bend and reach for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
- Have basic food handling knowledge and understanding of food safety protocols
- Have basic math skills
- Have reliable transportation
*Previous experience scooping and serving ice cream a plus
