Duties
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Take customer orders with a friendly attitude, upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience.
- Manage cash register operations, process cash and card payments, and handle cash handling responsibilities responsibly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including food prep areas, dining surfaces, and equipment sanitation to uphold food safety standards.
- Restock supplies, organize inventory, and ensure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations.
- Assist in serving customers at the counter or seating area, providing excellent customer service from order to delivery.
- Nights , Days , Weekends, Holidays
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or quick service restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with strong time management skills.
- Experience in retail sales transactions, cashiering, or grocery store operations is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques is essential.
- Background in culinary arts or café operations will support success in this role.
- Strong math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations are required to ensure accuracy in transactions.
