Fire Alarm Technician

Job Title: Fire Alarm Technician (FAL licensed)

Location: DFW

Position Summary:

• Install fire alarm systems in DFW area with an apprentice
• Position is expected to bill a minimum of 40 hours per week on projects, with typical hours from 7am to 4pm with a one-hour lunch. The start and stop times of your workday may be altered by your Supervisor

Job Duties (General):

• Install fire alarm systems

• Conduct testing and inspections of fire alarm systems

• Assist in troubleshooting existing systems and resolving problems

Job Duties (Specific):

• Perform tasks throughout the day assigned to you by your Supervisor

• Clean up your work area at the end of the day
• At the end of day, input your hours into Caruth’s online portal

• Texas FAL license
• Knowledge of English
• Ability to learn applicable installation codes
• Ability to perform physical activities outlined in the accompanying physical requirements checklist
