What are the responsibilities and job description for the ESL teacher in Southlake, TX (Dallas/Fort Worth) position at Cartus Corporation?

One of the many relocation services we provide is language training. Currently we have a need for an experienced English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher to deliver in-person English lessons to 2 youth learners in Southlake, TX (Dallas/Fort Worth) USA. You will work with Cartus as a freelancer. There is the potential for you to receive additional assignments.
Learners' details:
- 2 Youth learners (9 and 12 y/o)
- Lesson format: Individual and in-person
- Location: Southlake, TX 76092, USA
- Lesson frequency: 2x per week each
- Learners' Availability: Tuesdays and Thursdays: Evenings (17:00-19:00)
- Learners' current level of English: Basic
- Learners' native language: Portuguese
- Start date: ASAP - Oct 2025
- Language Goals: Socializing & making friends; Language support for schoolwork; Daily life (school, sports, social clubs, etc.)
Required Skillset:
- Minimum 2 years of ESL/EFL teaching experience
- Experience teaching children in a one-on-one setting
- Ability to customize content to meet learner's needs
- Skilled in sourcing and utilizing authentic materials
- Proficiency with at least one video conferencing platform
- Background in special education would be a plus for your application.
