Pay Range: $52.09-$69.02*
The Emergency Room Manager assumes administrative authority and responsibility for the clinical operations of the ED to assure delivery of patient care consistent with the philosophy and objectives of the governing board. Maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in quality assurance activities.
Qualifications:
- Current NYS License as Registered Professional Nurse.
- Successful Completion of a Critical Care Course.
- BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years RN experience, with at least 2 years in an ED setting.
- Must possess and demonstrate the knowledge and appropriate means to provide Emergency Nursing Care across the lifespan. Age specific needs and growth and development milestones must be considered.
- Must possess the ability to communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team, including patients, family members and visitors.
- The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
