Given the continued rapid growth in our Multi-Manager SMA Platform clients, we are seeking an experienced team member to join our investment operations staff in the United States.
The Role: Senior Investment Operations
The Senior Investment Operations candidate will be instrumental in supporting the investment operations functions of our organization and contribute to a seamless execution of the day-to-day processes, while adhering to the highest levels of regulatory standards.
In this hybrid role, you will provide essential assistance to the client investment team across all aspects of investment operations (pre and post-trade) and reporting. The ideal candidate will exhibit the ability to work in a high energy environment supporting multiple clients simultaneously, attention to detail, outstanding communication abilities, an enterprising mindset, and a strong willingness to acquire the necessary skills for this position.
Job Responsibilities

- Deliver exceptional client service through proactive communication with responsiveness, professionalism and tact.
Operational Expertise: demonstrate considerable understanding of key operational functions which may include, but not be limited to:
- Demonstrate high-level knowledge of securities including equities, ETFs, swaps, options, futures, foreign exchange – crypto a plus.
- Daily trade confirmation/settlement
- Fails management
- Daily P&L reconciliation and reporting
- Corporate action and proxy voting processing
- Cash/position reconciliation
- Broker/counter-party onboarding
- Security set-up and data integrity maintenance
Technology Knowledge: demonstrate high-level knowledge and understanding of well-known Order Management Systems (OMS) and Portfolio Management Systems (PMS) – understanding of AI and the ability to code a plus.
- The successful candidate will be the main point of contact for all operational queries and will interact closely with clients/prime brokers/administrators and internally across the Business, Middle Office and Operations.
- Learn and adhere to the company’s risk parameters, policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of experience in the Alternative Investment Management industry working primarily with Hedge Funds.
- Prior experience working at either a Prime Brokerage firm, Bank, Fund Administrator or internally at a Hedge Fund.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Business/Finance/Economics preferred.
- Passionate about working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of investment products, financial markets, and investment operations processes.
- Experience in treasury functions such as securities transfers, ACH/EFT, domestic and international wire transfers.
- Hard-working, self-starter, dedicated, punctual and personable.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle and protect highly confidential financial and personal information reliably and with discretion.
- Strong computer skills / ability to code a plus
