Job Summary
The Vice President of Finance is responsible for overseeing the company's financial strategy, planning, reporting, and risk management. This position leads the finance department, supports senior management decision-making, and ensures financial control, compliance, and performance across all aspects of the company. Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning and Analysis
Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
Develop long-term financial models and strategic plans
Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management
Financial Reporting and Compliance
Oversee monthly/quarterly/annual financial closing and reporting
Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal financial policies
Coordinate external audits and regulatory filings
Treasury and Capital Management
Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital optimization
Lead treasury functions, including banking relationships and financing
Support financing, M&A, and investor relations activities
Cost Control and Performance Management
Monitor business performance, profitability, and cost structure
Implement financial controls and cost reduction measures
Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance management across departments
Risk Management and Internal Controls
Identify and manage financial risks and internal control weaknesses
Implement SOX/ICFR compliance where applicable
Oversee internal audit and compliance programs
Team Leadership and Development
Build and lead a high-performing finance team (financial planning and analysis, accounting, treasury, tax)
Mentor and develop finance talent and establish career development paths
Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with the CEO/COO, business units, and functional heads

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred)
20 years of experience in finance with leadership responsibilities
Extensive experience in financial planning, reporting, and corporate finance
Excellent analytical, communication, and strategic thinking skills
Proven experience leading and developing finance teams
Preferred Qualifications
CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification preferred
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
Experience in M&A, financing, or investor relations
Experience in a regulated industry or multi-entity organization
Proficiency in tax, treasury, and risk management
