A well-established Florida law firm is hiring an Associate Attorney to join its general liability and insurance defense practice in Coral Gables. If you are 3 to 5 years in and ready to deepen your defense practice rather than start over somewhere new, this seat is built for you.

What You'll Do
- Own a general liability defense caseload from intake through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Attend depositions, mediations, and case evaluations
- Defend third-party matters across premises liability, auto accident defense, and insurance defense litigation
- Work directly with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel
What You Bring
- 3 to 5 years of general liability and/or insurance defense experience
- Third-party defense work only (no first-party experience)
- Active Florida Bar membership in good standing
- Strong litigation, writing, and case management chops
- Ability to work in-office in Coral Gables
Compensation
$140,000 to $145,000, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package. Limited work-from-home flexibility.
