TempExperts is sourcing for an Accountant for a Security Systems Company located in Northern Pinellas County. The ideal candidate should have accounting experience for a company in the $5M - $10M size range.
Responsibilities:
- Provide full accounting expertise, including AR Collections.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts, prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and cash position reporting.
- Process accounting through QuickBooks.
- Enhance billing, revenue recognition and costing functions and internal controls with proven process improvement skills.
- Prepare financial, billing, and job reports.
- Strong Quick Books knowledge of billing, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, inventory, journal entries and financial reporting.
- Overtime availability is expected.
Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
- Experience in B2B construction or service-related industries required.
- 3-5 years of proven Accounting and business administration experience.
- Full charge Bookkeeping experience preferred.
- Experience in the $5M - $10M company size range preferred.
- High level of competency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, IF Stmts) is required
- High level of competency in QuickBooks is required.
- Excellent communication skills to include written, grammatical, and verbal.
- Ability to handle sensitive personnel matters.
