Job Summary:
Cartersville Country Club is seeking a professional and service-focused Evening Bar Supervisor to oversee evening bar operations and provide a welcoming and refined experience for our members and their guests. This role requires a hands-on leader who is attentive to detail, enjoys working in an upscale environment, and takes pride in maintaining the high standards expected at a private country club.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the evening bar team, ensuring exceptional service and member satisfaction
- Create a warm, inviting atmosphere in line with the club’s hospitality standards
- Oversee drink preparation and ensure adherence to quality and presentation guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the bar and lounge areas
- Assist the daytime bar staff with ordering, restocking, and waste control
- Handle member and guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally
- Enforce club policies, including responsible alcohol service
- Manage end-of-shift procedures
- Support and train bar staff to ensure performance consistency and growth
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of bar or hospitality supervisory experience, preferably in a private club or upscale venue
- Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, wines, and spirits
- Polished interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on member service
- Evening and weekend availability required
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic inventory controls
- TIPS Certification in the state of Georgia required.
