CarterPierce is partnered with a private equity-backed residential services platform to identify a VP of M&A to lead deal execution as the company scales through an active acquisition strategy. This role owns deal execution end-to-end once a target is in the pipeline — from second call with sellers through full diligence and close — across both platform acquisitions and tuck-in deals. Reports directly to the company's President.
Responsibilities
- Run seller relationships and manage deal execution from second call through close
- Oversee both platform acquisitions and tuck-in acquisitions
- Team growth, leadership and development
- Run a disciplined, repeatable diligence process across a high volume of smaller transactions
- Partner cross-functionally as needed to support integration of acquired businesses
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience — 1-2 years in banking plus 3 years buy-side/corporate development experience
- Background in private equity (smaller funds or add-on-heavy strategies) or corporate M&A/corporate development
- Strong EQ for managing seller relationships directly
- Exposure to residential services preferred but not required
